--EDIT--

I think the Centuries are great birds as well. As far as hearing Raptor, Raptor, Raptor - well that trend has gone. It is now Evo, Evo, Evo that is the latest lemming chant Honestly, I am content letting people fly what they want and having fun with it. If its a Raven, cool - if its an Evo, cool - if its a Raptor, cool. They are all the BEST HELI out there, for the person using them.

Happy Flying!

bellecrank, you make some good points to consider and I hear ya, but check this out,
#1 - #6 are set up issues, with the exception of a weak clutch bell which has been documented and addressed. And any heli can suffer flutter (woof and poof) as you describe it.
#7 is a matter of preference, you have an option of short or long, up to a certain point.
#8 is common to all plastic heads in time. Thats why they sell upgrades.

All I can say now is, oneinnesja, I agree 100% Now get out there with your favorite and burn some fuel!

Raptor Raptor Raptor Marsha Marsha Marrrrrsha,,,,,
I have talked to many flyers, Raptor flyers and non-Raptor flyer alike, and I have asked them the same question, and the answer is always "YES",,,

the question is,,,,
do you think a good number of Raptors are sold just because of it's name,,,

yes, of-course !!

I've flown a raptor good bird, now I fly a Raven. Awesome, great bird.

The head assembly has changed

All kit comes with updgraded hub and washout guide.

Raven comes with lot's of updated goodies, the the Raptor does not have as base kit.

genovia, it looks like damage control if you ask me.

Last week you couldn't get that in a kit. The link led you to the Swift.

Edit..........
BTW, does it come with that nice looking canopy, or is that sold seperate, like the Swift?

It is stainless steel, and no, stainless is not magnetic.

The government cannot give you anything without first taking it from someone else.

I have tested stainless steel, and no it is not magnetic. I was suprised to find that one out myself. But indeed it IS true. I own a Predator Max, and indeed the spare tube I have is stainless steel. As is my Colt .45 that I tested it on. And it is 100% guaranteed stainless steel.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.
