I was just thinking that this guy posted some interesting works.
But it's long time I do not see any post from him.

On a beach in Mexico

My Posts: All  Forum  Topic

Hi, y'all!

I was just taking some time off. Yes, I retired last year (at the ripe old age of 49) after selling my visual effects business after 24 years of fun and craziness. We also sold the house in Newport Beach and purchased a 40' diesel pusher RV and have been traveling, in fact just got back to the 'States this weekend after 4 weeks on a warm beach in Mexico.

I think I just got overworked/overwhelmed. I needed a clean break to be able to look around and remember what is important.

Plans are to get back into both Aerial Photography and Astrophotography. That's where you take pictures from RC helicopters looking down during the day and from telescopes looking up at night.

We'll keep traveling in the RV and exploring this great country, taking pictures while we go.

Clear skies and soft landings,
Greg Pyros

Oh I hope you get a flat.

It is about 25 degrees up here, but bright blue skies.

Good to see you are not done with photography Greg.
Your Astro stuff is too cool!

Enjoy your traveling and if you end up here in Seattle area give me a buzz. Numbers on the web page.

Wow, what a great community!

I want to thank everyone who replied both on the list and also those who sent emails and PMs with their addresses and phone numbers, telling me that we were welcome to pull our RV into their driveways and plug into their power!

If we plan this right, we can travel the entire country and never need to go to a campground again!

Jason, we'll be there - but only after it warms up!

Thanks,
Greg Pyros

Hey Greg,

I've got a big driveway (and electricity) in Albuquerque. Stop on by if you are in the neighborhood!

P.S.- I'll even let you fly your helicopters across the street... around Mark (RC_Combat) Laboyteaux's favorite tree!
