i noticed that the kalt mercury (and belt drive kalt 30's) use the same main gear as my kalt 60, but since the mercury has a belt drive tail ... you don't use the bevel gear on top to drive the tail. here is my situation. i have that same gear , near new, but the top bevel teeth have been chipped by a light tail strike to the grass. i would pay you for your gear and send you mine as well...that way , you'd still have a good gear for yours, some cash in your pocket, and would help to keep mine flying. (gear number 71003 and 31068...88 teeth on the edge and 69 on the bevel) thanks larry. please respond to toejab@netzero.com so that i will get it for sure.

mbba2001....$65 is NOT a reasonable price...$40 is. it would be great to keep my kalt alive, but i am not ready to pay way too much to do so. there are people out there that no longer fly kalt and think even less than $40 is reasonable to help someone keep there old favorite still in action, esp. when they don't fly them anymore thenselves. larry

One of my flying buddies has a $hitload of Kalt parts, I'll check with him and see if we can't get you that gear! It sure as hell won't be $60.00, either!!

You have to pay if you want to play retail price for KLT71003 main gear machined $44.95 in 2001 .Im not going to give these parts away. You did'nt or won't???? You will have too just keep looking for that free price tag Only the person who can confront themself with such language and describe another person is that person to start with. You can describe yourself to a tee. Supply and demand sets the price. My prices are for NIP parts NOT used. You can haggle on used parts I have some of those.
