Don't mind the legal stuff, I plan on telling the other party this conversation is being recorded.

I have to talk to someone and need ever detail of the conversation recorded ASAP. Looking for something that I can just plug in line between the handset and phone. Anybody know of anything that I can do this with.

I'll record directly to a tape player if I have to. Doesn't matter, just need it quick, maybe from Radio shack.

try looking at this circuit http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/phonrec.htm very simple should not take long to make. Parts will be readily available at radio shack. Hope this helps

something like this will allow you to plug into your computer and record right to harddrive. i'm guessing you'll want to digitize the recording eventually.
