Thank you very much! Good to know I am thought of. I too had a lot of cuts and bruises from my young days. Most of them are result of hockey playing . Haven't done it since I came to US at 16. Too bad I stayed in Sacramento where water doesn't even freeze year round . Should had moved to Canada

3D Pro? I have only "1D" under my belt, what am I going to do with "3D"?

hope all is well,

Cheers,

Hello garage_flyer,
Glad your son is ok and just another part of growing up. Hey hey hockeytown wings are in first place over all. I still have my hockey uniforms. I still play with the kids in the neighborhood ,but it's been a few years because of the mild winters and no ice ,we have 400ft of shallow water before the dropoff which freezes in a normal winter.
Leslie,
We all appreciate a video from you ,love to see the beltdrive flying ,just cut the music so can hear how quiet it is. Face or no face your a beautiful person.

I'm a little tired from all the heli madness. So I took a little break from it this weekend and built my "lunch box". It was so much fun .

All my RC cars spend more time being up side down in my backyard . Does that count?

Sweet truck G_F I'm sure it's setup for inverted flights. I always figured you for a asphalt car guy like a 4wd beamer, not the 4x4 bigfoot type... I always wanted to build a 1/4 scale nascar with a full mod g260 motor and pipe... Maybe next winter....
Or maybe I'll buy a place in Florida so I can boat and fly year round....

Tom..... No "D" flying....

You are half right. All my cars are imports, but no bimmer. Just never into it. My last car (totaled last month) was a Mercedes. Now I'm looking for a GTI TDI or a WRX . But for RC cars I like the monster stuff. I have 2 E-Maxx and a Revo. For road cars I have mostly subaru WRX (3) bodies, an Audi TT, a Farari, and a Lambo.

You are also half right about my Lunch Box. Yes it does have an 80's Van body. But it's a Tamiya (one of the best Japanese RC brand) kit. Also it's not a 4X4. This is a 4X2 Wheelie special. If you look closely it has a wheelie bar on its rear . I wanted this thing since I was 12. But couldn't afford one back then. For 05 and 06 Tamiya is bringing out a lot of retro kits (like the Mustang and PT thing). I am loving it and going to play them with my son. It will be perfect for my backyard

If you like 1/4 gas RC Nascars, you may want to buy a house in Phonix AZ. They have a place race those. Each car has a camera in the driver's position and you "RC" them in a driver seat looking at the video image from the 1/4 RC cars. It doesn't get more real than that . Tom, maybe when you retire we can put some money together and build a place like that in NY or CA

Check this out, very cool

That's what I call "model cars" . You keep the car, I keep the model.

Garage_Flyer,

What a nice truck and it's safer being on the ground except for Leslie's dog. Good idea to take a break from helis ,my wife would like me to take a perminent break.

Arnie, is that your boat in your gallery? I take a permanent break if my wife let me have one of those . At least I can hide all the RCs on the boat . Nice boat, by the way!

No, my wife will never be happy . Last night she gave me the "quality time together" talk. Only if she wants to learn how to fly a heli, we can share a lot of "quality time together" . How can shopping be "quality time together" when I need to buy absolutely NOTHING. She won't even consider me watching the kid and let her go shopping as "quality time"

Hello Gordon,
Yes that boat was mine since 1992 ,but we sold it last year. had many great times on that boat and caught a lot of fish. Fishing with my wife is quality time to her as she outfishes many men. We are looking to get a pontoon boat.

Yeah I love boston Whalers and was looking at them before I bought the Searay laguna. My wife like em too,but the pontoon boats are very popular out here you can take everyone along and spend the whole day having all the conveniences onboard. They build them now for the Great lakes with larger pontoons.

Mann, Larger pontoons , sounds like you can camp on them now a days. Make it a house boat then there would be no Mortgage no more

I know why you want those, they make better platforms for helis to land. I won't tell on you thou
