Just tell him we are a bunch of heli nuts who are bored with winter and can't wait to fly in some warm weather... Maybe we should all book a flight to Florida for a week of flying in the sun....

Hi All,

Hey Slider pick me up on your way through. Let's beat the nor'easter and head to sunny WARM Florida.

Don't worry Greybird, we won't be much trouble. We'll check our frequencies at the door

Cheers,
Leslie

It looks like I'm going to miss the storm, it's staying south of Albany NY and I'm nothwest from there...I got lucky again. It doesn't look good for your area Leslie. Might as well make another video or build another heli..

Hello Gang,
We dodged a storm here just a little flurries and the sun was out for a while. I set up the leslie special and ready to take a video soon. I made two trips out east from my place through Canada to Buffalo to Albany to Bennington vermount on to hampton beach NH to portland Maine down to the cape and on to Mystic sea port. So I can pick up Slider than leslie and head on down 95 to Greybird's.

Hi All,

hey Arnie you made it to my backyard!! In order to get from Bennington to Hampton Beach you passed within 10 miles of me. Next time beep!!

We're supposed to get hammered with a nor'easter tommorrow night, not that I believe the forcasters When they say big, I get out my broom, when they say small, I gas the tractor

Maybe I'll get a chance to do a video of that little beltdrive that's flying in my basement

Hey Arnie, what components are you going to put on yours??

I have a seeker6 rx, Hobbywing 18A ESC (i love this thing), Eflite S75 x 3, and a lightening brushless motor powering this puppy. It's working really well.

Cheers,
Leslie

Leslie,
Now I have an idea where you live ,Hampton Beach has the best crab sandwich my wife and I ever ate. I hope to make another east trip ,four days of eating lobster; awesome.
As far as my components for my beltdrive:a BL 2800kv motor I bought from a guy on RR ,of course the hobbywing18 ,four futaba 3107's(Remember I'm building this on a honeybee cp2) ,futaba 127 pcm reciever. I haven't bought a futaba gyro yet.

Hi Arnie,

I can't wait to hear your review of the cp!! 1D, 2D, 3D... we're all learning!!

When you get back to the Maine coast hit Perkin's Cove (between York and Ogunquit) and check out Hurricane's, they have an awesome crabmeat and havarit sandwich. Also a great view!!

Cheers,
Leslie

Leslie,
When it comes to Maine I love the roadside lobster stands ,but the havarit and crab sounds good I'll keep perkins cove in mind.
I just flew my blade cp and it is more of a hands full than the easy going Elites so this beltdrive will be interesting to say the least.

Hi Arnie,

I really think you're going to like the belt. It's smooth as silk. Quiet and controlled. I'm totally pleased I went with this kit. I expect if we get the snow forcasted I'll have some time to do a short video of this little bird.

Of course, if I put myself in the video, I'll have to wear my leathers and helmet just to keep g_f guessing

Cheers,
Leslie

I am still recovering from my Canadian trip and haven't even had time to catch up with all my Emails. I did talk to Rob_T here on RR. He made a eCCPM shogun. He told me I need to loosen the washout too. I was going to try it out last night, but fell asleep right next to my baby in his bed .

Just thought I may catch a break this afternoon, my boy's day care called. He ran and fell and cut his head. It was a small but deep cut just above his eyebrow . I took him to ER (2nd trip of the year and the only 2 trips I made since 16) and we waited 3 hours only to have the doctor sent us home w/o any treatment .

I am still at work 7PM on a Friday night, trying to catch up the work I missed this afternoon .

3D Pro? I have only "1D" under my belt, what am I going to do with "3D"?

Hi All,

Hell of a day G_F!! I hope your son is okay. I recall, when I was little I put my parents through hell with this type of stuff. Usually I came home covered in blood, only to get packed in the car and trussed off the the emergency room. My parents went nuts, but I came out okay.

Hope it all works out. I suspect your on a "long strange trip".

Get some rest and stop working, we miss you reparte!

Cheers,
Leslie
