Your link to the Whirlybirds website is dead. It says your domain needs to be renewed. Just FYI

St. Louis Whirlybirds Web Site
Sorry for the down time - we had some trouble with our hosting service and then more trouble getting it all squared away (took 1 month)!

The site will be uploaded and ready to roll.

Scott Cathey and hopefully Vic Campell will be joining us.

The Boys from Kennett MO will also be there.

Great Prizes rolling in all the time.

T-Rex and Electric Hobby Shop will be on site (http://www.highvoltage-rc.com)!

Hotel and attraction information will be updated on web site soon.

Hope to see you all there!

I know in the past there really hasnt been electric on site except to power the pa system. I was wondering Since the Trex has become so popular and many pilots have one or some other elec heli will there be access to electric this year to charge the packs? I have my Evo 50 but I also have 2 trex's one for night and one for the day. Between the two I have 6 packs and there will probally be others needing lipos charged?

Just a thought
Thanks, T.J.

I learned to fly planks at Buder as a child, almost 20 years ago! I haven't been back since, but I'll be there the 3rd and 4th. Can we show up Friday eve to set up our canopies and get some flying in?

Electric On Site
I will see if I can arrange a generator to charge batteries for anyone needing juice.

In addition, you are welcome to setup and fly Friday evening. The park gate is locked in the late evening and we have left ez-ups in the past with no problems. You should see some of the WB's doing some last minute clean up.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Might catch you at Springfield - we have a large group attending FF.

Later

I am also going to attend. I am really looking forward to it since I missed the Kennett and Springfield FF's. You can also count me in for some good ol' night flying. I'll have my T-Rex geared up and ready to go.

Raffle?
Any word on what the big raffle prize will be? As I recall, it was a not-yet-released Hirobo Evo 90 last year. A chance at something like that alone makes this Fun Fly worth going to.

Daniel has to come, he's the defending champ! Gotta defend the title.

I'm sure HiroboStLouis has been training all year to try to take the crown.

Would be great if you guys could just stop in for a bit. We were sorry to miss you at the Springfield Tweak 'n Tune already.

Take care and good luck with the house(s).

Update. Update.. Update.....
Our sponsors have really pulled through this year for our pilot prizes. Our table prize table is a plethora of goodies, gadgets and a sprinkling of e-heli kits.

Vendors such as High Voltage RC, Great Planes, Maxx Products, Tower Hobbies, Al’s Hobby Shop, Micro Fasteners, Mega Motors USA, RC Lipos, Inc., Helicopter World, Hobby Horse Wisconsin, Rick’s, Boca Bearing, FMA Direct, SR Battery, Performance Specialties, Byron Originals and Rotory Modeler have all contributed to make this one of best event yet.

We will have a dedicated power station set up for charging batteries for all of the electric flyers out there.

Also let’s not forget about the raffle. St. Louis Whirlybirds will be raffling off an Align 450 SE kit in the winners choice of black or sliver. So don’t forget to hit the ATM, stretch out up your arms and buy a stretch of raffle tickets.
