G3 screwing me up
Well not really, but teaching me bad reactions. Well, you guys know where the reset button is on the controler? Well my CP went out of control today, and instead of trying to get her back in, I reached down the hit the reset button! Grrr, needless to say I need a new set of mains lol.

Spud,
That is really funny, I don't think I would forget that I was not using the sim and try and reset a real heli, but I've been wrong before...
PS I guess the imaginary reset button didn't work, you need new mains

I normaly would have been mad at myself, but it was too dang funny to get mad lol! luckily the tolet lid was closed b/c the heli went from the master bed room, where I was practicing hovering, to the bathroom lol! The main hit the doorway, and threw the heli towards the thrown.

I think it is a good practice to always fly the sim just like the real thing - that is always try to save it when things go wrong. You will find that after a while you WILL save it. Also, it teaches you to always fly new things with an exit plan, another good practice. This sort of thing help me very much one time last year when I saved the real thing pretty automatically. As a mater of fact, after it was over and I was still shaking I couldn't remember what I did, so it must have been automatic.

I agree with ph7, get used to hitting throttle hold at all times, not the re-set button, this way even if u crash the model on the sim the brain is being taught to hit throttle hold, this is the switch that will help u better down the road....hope this helps!
