Noisy digital servos
I'm in the process of installing & adjusting links on my new Evo 50 and have noticed that these digital servos (4 x 9252) are making a lot of buzzing noises. I know about the digis trying to "fine tune" constantly, but is there no way to reduce the racket? Is it the push-pull set-up thats doing this? Or is this just a fact of life with these servos?

Thanks! See, thats what I get for not using "search"; I suddenly got a lot of hits with "buzzing servos" . I'll double-check for binding though, can never be too sure!

ThorBob, I just finished my Evo 50 and I am using the 9252 servos as well. I purchased everything brand new. When I built the kit and installed the servos, they made a whole lot of noise. I checked for binding and such but never found anything. Now, since I have flown it for about 10 or 12 flights, the noise for the most part, has gone away. I figure this is because the balls have settled into the links or simply put......loosened up and not sticky anymore.

But as 3d type put it, they are noisy little buggers, and that is all normal.

Let us know how that thing flies!

Thanks Joe! I did a bit of tweaking on the push-pull's and that seemed to quite it down a bit. Here's hoping break-in will smooth it out some more! Oh and thats pretty much the same set-up as me; new Evo + new 9252's. Unfortunatly mine also has "new pilot", so lets just hope the chopper survives long enough for the servos to break in (on not "off"
