Honey Bee King Motor...Can you use it with Honey Bee ch2
Can you use the Honey Bee King main motor on the Honey Bee cp2??
Has anyone tried it yet?
They are both 370,, (( same as Blade cp motor ))but the motor on the King is a different type of motor,,.
For one thing the King motor has outside brushes!!
And it does use the same heat-sink as the cp2 !!
Before anyone says,,, ((why don't you just go to a brush-less motor?)) I don't see myself spending over $100.00 on a $150.00 helicopter kit ,,, to go brush-less...
My thinking is the King weight is a little more so maybe this would be a little more power for the Honey bee cp2????
Thanks.

Id like to know if this can be done too.
Anyone taking it on should bear in mind this heli uses an upgraded esc and the tail rotor is direct drive.

If both rotors are powerd by the brushless 370, coupled with the extra 50g the King has on the CP I would think this would result in less performance but much more motor durability.

Yes, You can you the same rotor if they match the same demensions, such as thickness, width, length,. If you feel the weigh not to far apart it should be fine.

if the blades are light and the blades are the same demensions your helicopter will go higher, and may even fly longer (less wait on rotor means less stress on motor)

I own a Honey bee CP2 and these things are the best rc ones out there
I also like the "Piccolo" and "Blade X" but if your going electric I say "Honey bee CP2" is the way to go if your looking for powerfull and stable,.

Using King motor on cp2
I have a Honeybee king motor on my cp2. So far it works great! Alot more power, actually too much power. You really have to get use to it after having the regular 370 motor. I have 2 heat sinks on the motor.
