I've never really liked toy dogs either, but I wouldn't say it was an ugly animal, optikaman.

It's been over 2 years since he last posted. I wonder what that heli looks like today.

I know the builder. He is a mechanic or tool and die guy.He built it pretty much from scratch.I was at the field when it went in.It was minor but he has to re fab all the repair parts. He said it would be flying in the Spring.I seem to recall he was planning to build a military scale fuse as soon as it was flying really well.

coool...

I just thought it was worth bringing up. I like to see the home-made stuff.

Thanks for the info. If you find anything more about it I'd like to hear it. Heli looks pretty cool to me

I have a lot of respect for those who make there own parts or own heli's; IMHO is shows a real commitment to the hobby and a special talent to do it single handedly. Kudos to a unique ship and dareing to be different.

I only see him a couple times a year at the FFs.If I see him again I'll tell him it was on here.I'm sure he would fill in the details for everyone interested.I was at a indoor dome a couple weeks ago and he was there flying TREXs.That's where I got the latest info.

The guy's name is Mark Knoppie. <Sorry If I butchered the spelling of your name Mark> I fly with him from time to time. Saw him a few weeks back at the dome.

He's been working on that machine for many years. I think he built the head for it first, and I must have seen it at least 10 years ago.
When I talked to him a few weeks ago he said he had been taking a break from RC for a little bit, but it looked like he is back in it now.
