Anybody got theres yet?
Anybody got theres yet? Mine were supposedly shipped Wedensday. USPS tracking is useless. Hope the quality is good enough to be usable. I have a Sonic 120 ccpm swash from them. It's no work of art but looks like it will do the job.

I team up with a fly buddy, get 2 to save some $. Heard this is heliup g10 cloned, but heliup is way over price, but look like I still need swashplate right?, my align alum 1 using in cf will not work I guess, or I will borrow the 1 in g4 frame :)

In their website they said the Sonix 120 degree swashplate can work or microheli swashplate can work on that also and of course heliup swashplate for the frame will work too

Your probably right about the swash costing 50 cents to make, but how can it be any worse than the Align?

Worst thing about it is , you are paying 28.oo for something that probably cost 50 cents to make
Willy,

Wow, it's that cheap to make? Can you make 1 for me and I pay you $1. You have a 100% profit margin there

The align swash is way better than the sonix one. The sonix swash had a lot of slop and play in all directions and the balls are all of different size. I replaced it with an align wash and its many times better.

All I know is that the sonix swash is very similar to the align metal swash so there shouldn' be any issues there. However, I I don't remember things well enough to tell you if the align pastic swash is good enough. You should upgrade to a metal swash anyway, even if its the only metal upgrade you make.

Any thoughts on these frames yet ? I got mine today but I don't want to try them until I smash my plastic framed t-rex. I was surprised to see it was already assembled. I tossed them on the scale and they're probably 'about' the same weight as the gray plastic frames, perhaps 5 to 10 grams heavier. These frames have the main bearings installed and the plastic frames I weighed didn't have any bearings installed nor did it include the belt pulley and canopy standoffs. When those are factored in there's probably not more than 10 grams or so difference.

The true test for me will be how well they grip and retain the tail boom without allowing the boom to move. I had heard these were like the heliup frames but I see the boom clamping arrangement is entirely different. My heliup frames clamp the boom with a death grip, I just hope these work as well. This boom clamp arrangement reminds me more of the align carbon frames, the two halves pinch the boom.

We need a flight report.....Anyone ? Anyone... Bueller ?

Here's a rough pic.

Jeez willy, you got permanently banned from RC Groups (presumably) for impersonating HeliDirect with a similar username then falsely saying "on their behalf" that the frame was recalled.

Now you're here saying the rumor is that it's recalled! When it was (presumably) you who started the rumor!

That's downright malicious. You're probably not far from getting banned here too.
