I've set to heli mode, found the max throttle point (comes in at 90% on my Fut 7c).
Question is, should I get the LED coming on at 0 throttle?

2nd question, to adjust governed HS, do I simply adjust throttle curve setting?

I am aware that it should be a flat curve.

p.s. Don't you just love that soft start!!
After my Align 35A (non gov) it's a revelation!! No more jumping gears on start up..

With some Futaba radios it has been stated to make your endpoints to 110 on channel 3 or "throttle" both on high side and bottom. However if when you plug it in and you hear the distinct 3 beeps when you have left throttle stick at bottom there is really no need then to make them to 110. I can't recall at the moment but I think the light or LED blinks when the 3 beeps go,,, but I never look at it, I just listen for the 3 beeps then I know it is initialized and ready to fly. In regards to headpeed you would increase your throttle curve yes, that is what controls your HS, if you are not getting enough then you need to of course upsize your pinion.

And lastly yes the soft start on the Kontronik is unbeatable, simply awesome. However one thing to note on this soft start they have is make sure to remember that when doing autos, you have to be much more committed to following through on it vs others that can start sooner.

Good point about the autos!
Hadn't thought of that. Not that I do them often.
I tried it twice about April last year, a couple of months after I started flying. Went amazingly well considering how much I was shaking
I had SAB 305's on it at the time. I go it down in one piece, but more by luck than judgement! Haven't had the balls to try it since.

I tried upping the end points, but it didn't make any difference.
90% seems to be max.

Might be just what your motor and pinion combo can offer is all. Not sure as to whether there is somehthing more to be done with your tx as I use a 9C Super and have never had a 7C, sorry I could not have been more help on the matter....Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

No I didn't. But I assume it's supposed to.
The BEC circuit has quit on me now, so I've had to send it back to Germany for repair. Waiting to hear from them.
