Still no reply--attachments?
Hi Guys

I talked to someone at Heli-world on Tuesday about them replacing an incorrect part I got in a TT kit...the person was fairly helpful, and he told me to send an email to sales@heli-world.com with pictures of my wrong part and the part I needed. Well I didn't know how to do this directly on the email form, so I made up an explanation with pictures on Microsoft Word and sent it as an attachment. I sent the email within 30 mins. of the call, and I still haven't received any reply.

So, does anyone know if this email address accepts attachments? I think I'll give them a call again today, too...

HW3070A. It's a part for CN0520BS, the Torque Tube upgrade for the Hawk Sport. For some reason, my tube kit came with HW3070...and that part doesn't work. I'm trying to get customer service to replace it free...

Jim,

No the stock Hawk part won't work. Nathaniel needs the shaft that goes in the Falcon/Raven/Predator since he is upgrading a Hawk Sport, not replacing a damaged tube in a Hawk Pro which does use the stock Hawk tail rotor input shaft.

They have made it very confusing IMHO because the upgrade for the older Hawks is the same parts as the stock larger helis, but the stock Hawk Pro uses the stock tail rotor input shaft like for a wire drive even though it has a torque tube.

If you are confused, I certainly understand because it took me a while to figure it out myself.

Update on the situation
Hi Guys

I called again today, and talked to Carl I think his name was? Anyways, he has "sent me the part, today, priority mail." I should have it soon...

Doug, he also mentioned that THE guy that checks the sales email address was on the trade show--so apparently they have only ONE guy checking ALL the emails that come in...(Carl checked for mine and couldn't find it, hmm...). I can see how it might take them a while to get you parts.

Anyways, this guys was very understanding and asked no quesitons...he went as far as to appologize for me recieving the wrong part and he seemed to know about the different helis...

SO...is this part comes, I won't be needing your part Jim, and my faith in Century's customer service will be restored.

Thanks NewHeli, I got a call this evening from Dennis at Heli-World. He expressed desire to work towards resolving my outstanding issues; back ordered items, shipping charges, wrong parts. Special note on web site issues, Hawk Pro manual and Tower Hobbies parts shortage. He had actually read some of the posts to get an idea of what was going on.

I am heartened to see Heli-World and Century are working to close the gaps. I look forward to their response.
