wxerman,

The Pin has a little radius on 1 end and other end is flat. The round end comes through from outside of the TPS Horn and tight fit on the middle arm. Therefore, the pin looks like it spin itself on horn when the arm is moved that is the way it should be, so you should not use any glue or CA on this area unless the pin is loose fit or defective.

keyz,

Don't worry too much about your part, if you don't like it, please send it back to us for full refund. Normally, we request the local shop the nearest in your (customers) area to send the new part to you (customers) to save your (customers) down time. Then we take care it with our dealer on the next order. I am not sure about your case why you have a hard time with it, I have not received any email from you. Beside, I only take care product designs and technical issues in the company, I don't know much about those sales. Please send email to the correct address and there is someone will take care of that for you, not in the forums.

Thanks,

Andy Nguyen,

Keyz,

Sorry, if you really want to solve your problem, you might need to use your email for communication, but not use this forums for your personal issues. We don't deal with theses problems on forums or PM, beside technical supports and issues.
You might need to send email to support@microheli.com or sales@microheli.com for your request, then we will go from there.

Thanks,

Andy Nguyen,

Well, yes, my pins are loose but if I understand you correctly, Andy, I can just cover the flat end of the pin hole so it can't back out and I will be safe, at least until the permeneant fix is available, right!?

microheli pro tail new with several problems, I haven´t fly with it!
I have just bought a MH-TX4142TSP Pro Tail from modefosheli and I had two problems just after fixing it to my heli.

It had a lot of vibration which was impossible to solve with blade balancing.
As you can see in the picture I noticed that there is a very subtle but noticeable divergence on the pitch slider which makes one of the tail blades to have more pitch angle than the other and a difficult vibration to solve. I have lost the instructions that came with the upgrade so I am unable to know how to repair this if it is possible, I will appreciate some help or instructions photo...

The other problem was that due to vibration the tail pitch slider arm lost its pressure pin and began to rotate free, which is something similar to others ¿wouldn't be better a screw there?
In resume, at the moment, an upgrade that has left the heli at home and seems that wont be flying this weekend.

Why are we replacing the tail rotor assembly when the stock one works fine? Esp. if the upgraded item introduces new problems.

My stock XL tail assembly works great and its much cheaper and easier to obtain repacement parts.

Just curious.

I replaced my stock XL with the MP Pro for the following reasons:

1. Getting rid off the ball links. I had a crash due to ball links seizing in the cold.

2. Getting rid off the plastic. The stock plastic tail case breaks easily when the tail fin strikes the ground. Ditto the plastic fork which is £10 in the UK. I did £25 damage to the tail on the ground when I clipped the tail on a door on the way in from outside (cold plastic sure breaks easy).

3. Improving the smoothness of the pitch slider. I've only been doing piros for a couple of months but even early on I could tell clockwise piros were more hesitate, and when I looked at the stock design closely I could see that there was always going to be a high point in the pitch slider's travel as the fork moved left and right. As the stock slider is not symmetrical the mid (high point) appears on right yaw. The multi-linkage in the MH Pro design gets rid off this bind. Sure enough I can feel it in flight.

4. BLING BLING

Andy: Again great ideas. MH just needs to do the right thing in terms of communications and QC.

I think this a defective part you got. I am not sure why it's happened this way. Send it back to us for inspection. Your new set should be on the way.

Elijah and others,
Please send your request to support@microheli.com for the new Brass Pin and E-Ring. They should be available sometimes next week. We are waiting for those E-ring sending from USA to VN. It's a free of charge!

Thanks to all,

Andy Nguyen,

i give up on waiting for the Eclips sooooooo..........
i got bird number 2 which now has heliup frame and decided to get another pro tail for it as apart from the pins , im having no issues with it
ok so just opened up tail number 2 and noticed the ecips on it , so they are available
but then i also noticed its got leading edge controls and not trail edge as my other one has . is this going to cause me problems ?

also the part number ends with XXXXXXXSE
and not XXXXXXXSP as on there web site
are they different ? if so why ?

Great news for those that get the new ones I guess. As I understand it, it should have leading edge controls so your other one (#1 I guess) that has trailing edges is incorrect and there was a report that they had built a few backwards. So, I wouldn't correct the new one but definitely fix the old one when the opportunity arises.

1/2 hour of reading through this thread and another 1/2 hour reading through reviews.

I almost bought this tail.

I am now going to buy another stock Align SE tail for my new G4 Rex.

Until MH tail gets SOLID reviews from real people here on RR/RCG, I will refrain from purchasing one.

I just spent a lot of time building up my new Rex and would hate to see it buried into the ground due to a manufacturer defective part.

Willy, you'll like this ... everyone else... sorry I'm saying it ...

Align SE Tail = best bet for now.

... But honey it was only $$$
