Receiver
Hi - having tried lots - the Hitec Electron 6 seems the most reliable in terms of interference hits and glitches - very good in this heli - small and it's not expensive either

If you're looking for a JR receiver the R700 (PPM) or the R770(PCM) both work and fit well inside the frames. I'm currently using the R770 but have also tried the R700 without any glitching.

Hitech Electron 6. I use that in many of my aircraft and I have never had a problem. Price is excellent as well as the performance.

If you don't want any RX issues use the JR 770PCM or the FMA's Quantum 8. The FMA is dual convergence with great noise filtering and only costs $49.99. The Quantum is very small and light weight for a 8 channel RX. I'm using 6 of these in electric choppers with no issues. I gave up on all other brands of FM and I have tried several.

HITEC ELECTRON 6
Hitec ought to be paying my wages - this Receiver is the absolute ducks guts - I have a pile of em and they beat most similar receivers hands down and quite a few at three times the price - never had a glitch with one - use em with JR - Hitec and Futaba tranny's too.

I use an RCDirect Berg Receiver. Berg technology is very reliable and it still works on FM so you can potentially use it in training mode. Read up on this technology, it's really cool.

Anyways I use that receiver and a Revolution Power Antenna on my T-Rex, so no it's not an X400 but it's close enough. Have NEVER experienced a glitch or in-flight radio issue with this receiver.
