Frame stiffners for SE
I am stretching the boom on my SE to 33 inches and a friend of mine told me I should add frame stiffners because of the stacked frame. He said that TNT made some. Does anyone know anything about this and where can you find something like this?

The TNT part is no longer made, at least that's what Ron Lund told me a few years ago. This might be of interest, though:

It's currently out of stock. See if they can still get it.

I made one for my SE out of sheet carbon. It really is almost a mandate for the back of the model if you want the gyro to work well with a long boom.

Jim, not sure who made this, but it came off of an X-Cell graphite frame. Mounts between the upper rear standoffs and the boom supports. Includes shortened standoffs to account for brace width and bolts.

All graphite, nice and shinny on one side. Kind of dull and a little scratched on the other.

Not sure what there worth, but based on the discussion let's start at $20.00 + $4.05 USPS Priority Mail (That went up with the stamps) I will do paypal.

Seems to still be a demand for these things, I wonder why nobody is making them any more? Maybe I will use mine for a template and make a few.
