Rob, Thanks for all the work you put in to get your website where it is. G3 just wouldn't be as much fun without the downloads you have on there.

I am having trouble with evo50 that you uploaded. I get the model in there but it has 260mm blades. Anyone else having trouble?

Thanks. I just wish I had more time to work with g3 like I did with G2. I was home for over a year from shoulder surjery when I did most of the work for G2.Rob

Do you have a blade file for the 600 SABs that you have on the Evo50?

the .dds file goes into the color scheme folder. The .plng, and .rb files go into the planes folder. That should do the trick.

Got the files downloaded
Well,
I got the files downloaded. Everything is working fine. I still have a little tweaking to do to get it flying just right, but all and all it is flying great. Looks just like the EVO 50 too.
Thanks RCheliace.

Guys,

I am sorry-I got the files downloaded in the G3 planes and color schemes folders, but how do I edit a Heli to use the new files?

Thanks,
Ray

Evo 50 for G3
Ray Huang
After I put the files in their correct folders. I loaded the sundog
helicraft from the aircraft tab on your main sim screen. That is the heli that was used to model the Evo_50. when the heli appears look down at the bottom of the screen and click on the little arrow for the pull down menu to choose color. In there you will find the evo_50's color scheme. choose it and the heli canopy on the screen will change to the Evo-50's color scheme. You can go in and edit the heli to make it more similar to the dimensions and cfg. of your heli relative to the governor, gyro, pitch setup etc. If that doesn't work try writing RCHeliace for more advice.

rayhuang,

After you run RF click on select aircraft. Look in the list of custom aircraft for the sundog. Click on the + to open the list. It will be there listed by name (Hirobo Sceadu Evolution)if you put everything in it's proper folder. When you select it don't forget to select the matching colorscheme in the colorscheme list at the bottom of the window.

Sorry Rob,

I have unzipped all the files into the planes folder, then put the .dds file in color schemes. ONly thing i can find on the pull down tab is chnage color scheme, and when i do I get a weird loking canopy that looks like a lifesaver wrapper. But i get no choices for a custom sundog.

bummer!!

Rob,

I did get the evo50 and it is amazing to try and fly for a newbie. Its so responsive compared to the Sundog.

Thanks for your tech help,
Ray
