First Crash Radio / Gyro Repair Questions
Just had my first crash in 8 months of flying. It was a new Sceadu Evo 50 on one of its first few flights. Bummer. Anyway, two servos got stripped including the tail servo. I replaced the gears and although they work ok now, I'm thinking about sending in the 401 gyro / servo to get checked out. They are under warranty and the guy @ Futaba said the gyro should always get checked after a crash. Is this common practice? What does everyone else do after a major crash?

I would only send the gyro out for service if it is giving you problems, I have had crashes with the 401, and it seens to hold up very well.-= I know there is Money in RC helicopters. I put it there=-

Lift 'er off, and if the tail stays straight she's good to go.
