There used to be one or two web pages that listed fun flies by state, but they have not been updated since 2003.

I normally go to the calendar here, to ronlund.com, or to Some of the other forums and browse thru their listings and find the "local" events. (helifreak.com, rcuniverse.com, etc.)

Most of the time, I end up hearing from one event at another event or the people that I meet at those events tell me about more events.

Are you planning on coming this way? How's the heli and your learning curve doing?

Well As most of you may have noticed. Our fun fly almost turns itself into a float fly. Some areas in the region reported over 3 inches of rainfall by saturday morning.

I would like to thank the sponsors that donated their time and products for this event.

I would like to thank the 4 diehard piltos that made the trek even with the rain forecast.

Toby Viles, Topeka, KS
Bob Kelly, KC MO
Gary Cline, Topeka, KS
Tom Bruce, Junction City, KS

We had a great time working on our helis while it was raining, and we had a blast once the rain stopped in the early afternoon.

See you guys later!
