Thank you for keeping this thread alive. Yep, as we speak, the rain is pelting down on my shed while I'm frantically typing away at RR and being enthused by the flybarless splendors
Hoorah, it's snowing in the Alps.

Well the weather in South Africa is great at the moment. HOT days going in the high 20 degrees celcius to high 30 degrees celcius (77 - 95 fahrenheit).......

but we have an fuel shortage so flying can be limited......

Well I'm hoping that the weather will be fine tomorrow here in the UK. For once thats what the forcast said... However, London has just had a tornado which most definitely wasn't forcast!

It was a lovely day for flying in Lem today. Got some T-rex flying a the common and a sneaky run in hover on the Millie in the back yard.

I doubt if tomorrow will be as nice. :'(

The forecast round 'ere tomorrow looks clear early afternoon. Bollocks, I've got familly coming round. Sunday looks crap, and next week end is also out. This is the longest spell I've had without flying

My longest time not flying is a year!!

Not all due to the weather of course.

This time last year I asked if the missus would get me a Trex for Xmas which she did. It was a 450 and RTR from Ebay (obv not best move). Being new and all I tried to fly it over the Xmas period and crashed. I left it for a while and then had another go at hovering during the spring/summer months and crashed again, btw I didn't do anything to check for damage from the first crash and just assumed it all worked ok.

Currently I have my Trex being attended too, which is causing a few probs and hope to have it back soon.

I've now got an Evo50 as my new Xmas pressie and hope to fly that soon. I've had one lesson on a Raptor 30 and the rest is pure sim... So you see I'm a little frustrated with this weather and have had no stick time for quite a while

My longest period too about 5 weeks nows mainly due to lack of time, but when I do have time the weather is just against me! So using spare time to build my new Raptor 50 and thinking of stripping down my 30 and rebuilding it. Sim is getting some use, but I just cant get used to it so really struggling on it.

To infinity and......................... the ground........... Team Rimmer

Cold and windy and rainy the last 2 days - all since we arrived at the Sterkfontein Dam for a 7 day holiday. This dam is in the mountains at the top of the escarpment and gets some very strange weather. Anyway, managed 2 flights with an electric plank before the rain and cold started again! This is supposed to be our summer - bummer!!

Hey at least we are past mid winters day or at least we will be in half a hour, longer days shorter nights so it can only get better I hope.
