Hi, I am a newbie and I am wondering what to get for christmas. Right now I have a Blade CP and I'm wishing I had something either more durable or something smaller I could practice more often with. So I'm down to two models both of which are FP. I've been practicing on Reflex with the Corona model they have and I'm getting pretty good at the controls soo....which do i get? Micron which is small and can fly indoors no matter the weather or a Corona which I can upgrade later to CP eventually with Ballistic Tech's upgrade due out in Dec.

My next question is kinda an extension of the first question. What is the price difference between the two. Am I correct in thinking the Micron with EVERYTHING needed to fly is only $299. I checked on the web site and I found the Heli combo kit which says it includes everything you need to fly but I've read some post that say its $500... what's going on here? what am i missing? And the corona seems to be at least $500 for everything also. So in that case maybe the micron is better?

Please respond soon! I'm not sure what to do. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks,

Gee the Corona, micros can only take you so far, you need something you can get up in the air and move it around. If you can afford a few more bucks a T-Rex would be far better yet, it is a micro but almost not, lol, and would really amaze you compared to your blade, trust me there is no comparison on the two to be honest. Corona if you want to not worry about crashing as it is so durable and easy to repair and it will teach you orientation that is the most important thing in flying in the beginning. If you honestly feel you are past that then get a collective pitch machine, if you want smaller than goto a t-rex, if you want a nitro than a raptor 30 or 50 would be a good choice.

Have fun with whatever you decide.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
