Is there anyone out there using a 14mz with the following ocnfiguration:

14mz
Futaba 5014DPS Rx
Airtronic Digital 947582 Servos
or with the Futaba R309DPS

14mz
Futaba 5014DPS Rx
Futaba 9255 Digital Servos
or with the Futaba R309DPS

I'm researching servos for my Avant Kits and i'm not sure if I wan't to go with the Futaba 9255's or Airtronic 947582 Servos.

It would be a plus from an Avant user with either of these configurations.

Nevermind everyone, I got my answer but thanks anyway.

I'm going to stick with Futaba.

I received this pm and it reminded me of the quality that Futaba has:

The 9255 are the better servo. That's why I sold my airtronic ones some time ago.
The Airtronic servos have a lot of torque once they start but they have little starting torque whereas the futaba ones don't have that problem.

As I think back from previous servos (JR & Airtronics) it always brings me back home where I belong.

I had started this hobby out with futaba, moved to JR 652 series radio later and came back with the WC2. And now i'm on "top of the arena with my new radio" It's been rough and I didn't think that I would ever sell my wc2, but moving to the 14mz has really changes my programming experience. (Not that I had a problem)

It just takes less time with the added features and the 14mz looks sexy too.

Besides the 9255 from what I've been hearing work great with the 14mz, etc.

I was using the 94758Z's on the cyclic and pitch of my R60. After about 2 months one of them quit on me. I sent them all back and they replaced pots and motors! Surprised me that they actually took the time to repair them. Anyway, I don't trust them and I moved them to my 50 where things aren't so loaded.

Regards, Guy
