Hi Everyone,
I've just installed a new Zimmerman one-piece stainless .90 size muffler on an also new OS .70.
This muffler is quite big in my opinion for being fastened and supported by it's mounting flange only. I've always used Permatex's High Temp RTV sealant here on previous mufflers without a gasket and without any problems sealing etc. However, my concern is with the zimmerman being so much bigger, there may be some movement here and perhaps loss of sealing. Also should this muffler be supported like an Hatori multi-piece?

The lot I got is not a lot, but I thank God a lot for the lot I got!

I've just purchased another of these mufflers to use on my Eagle.
There are some stories about these mufflers cracking at the mounting flange.
Anyone using an additional support on their Zimmerman 60/90 muffler?
