Hello all.

I'm thinking of moving to a high voltage setup (probably 4S) with a NeuMotors 1107-2Y (9T pinion), Medusa 3.5 Amp BEC at 6 Volts and a TP2100-4s Pro Lite pack.

Currently I have a Align 35A Brushless ESC RCE-BL35G. Will this ESC work with this setup or should I move into some other ESC?

Also, are you guys all flying a separate BEC to move to 6 volts and the 3.5 amp? If I move to a Futaba 9650 TR servo it would appear that you will need the extra amps for the radio.

It would be interesting to see a list of the motor/pinion/esc/bec/lipos everybody is flying!

Thx..

Currently..

Align 35A Brushless ESC RCE-BL35G
Align 420LF Brushless Motor 3200KV

Im currently using Align 35amp ESC with polyquest 20c 14.8v - AON 3500kv motor - 11 tooth - with HS56 and HS50. I've had many flights on it with no problems. The BEC is rated at 2amps my gess is these little servos are not drawing that much current. Others are doing the same with simular results. Shore the safest thing to do is buy a seperate BEC, your ESC will be OK with 4s.
