Reworking Align Swash
So I've got the blue metal Align CCPM swash. HS1111T It's got three major components. The bottom part, the bearing, and the top part.

The bearing is press fit into the bottom part. The top part is press fit into the middle of the bearing.

Which of these two press-fittings is failing when the swash comes apart?

This was a big problem with the plastic swashplates, but I'm fairly certain it's not an issue with the metal swashplates. I heard that the new plastic swashplates fixed this problem, but if you're wondering if your swash can come apart, just try and push it apart. If it doesn't come apart with a fair ammount of force, you're okay. If it does pop apart, just put a little bit of JB Weld on the inner race of the bearing or the inner part of the swash (those are the pieces that pop apart), and pop the swash back together. Just be careful not to get any in the bearing.

I've already torn down my metal swas to the basic three pieces. I'm going to put it back together with red loctite. So at this point I'm committed.

I needed to use heat and the screwdriver handle technique as described here:HS1109

I used a different sized screwdriver (but the same technique) to remove the bearing from the bottom part.

(Do these swashplate parts have names?)

The glue I'm scraping off of the metal swash appears to be CA.

Of course, my kit came with the plastic swash. The OD of the plastic swash was glued with CA. The ID was "glued" with R48. That R48 is the wrong stuff to use for a metal-to-plastic joint. It had not cured.
