I woulda thought so. Neil probably would have taken the form of the internet if he was out of spots. Do what I did and send everything via E-mail = quicker! I'm sure there are a few spaces left!Sponsored by CSM and QuickUK

Ok,
after being mentally beaten half to death by certain individuals.....)Tris_heli who shall remain nameless) ive just put in my entry to Clubman 3D,

Im nervous already just filling out the application form.
Guess its time to get some serious practise in,
Im a mode 1 pilot so i'll be interested to see how i fair.

I used to race Bikes in Supersport 600, i can tell you now the feeling of apprehension is just the same as being in the holding area before being let loose on the track.
Id better take up drinking!

Any tips for wobbly hands and heart jumping out of the Tshirt?

Best to kinda stick to them....but you can go off them a little bit - as long as the judges know what your doing and its not just some crazy manouver you made up then I don't see why not.
However at 3D Masters You MUST only choose manouvers from their list.

Invent a new move!
Don't do the old moves... there is always scope to work out new moves...

It gets a little boring when everyone just pulls out the same trick.... so repetitive!

Good luck!

Well said Andy !!!

From what I have read, the judges of the event no exactly what they r doing, they r all top 3D dudes.

So think up someting new or different, I think it just needs to be clear and definable, from what the rules say.

If you said, I'm doing:

Helta Skelta
Washing Machine - High Spin !!
The Car Wash

Maybe great new moves, but what the hell r they !!! Judges don't know!!

But if you said, I'm doing:

Backwards 4-point Roll with a Reversal (one left roll follow by right roll)
Normal Loop with 1/2 piro flip on top (therefore 2nd half of loop exits inverted)

They r just some variations, maybe you might get some extra points fur being abit original, rather than just following the crowd !!

I can't wait, it is gunna be gud.

Exactly Derek,

Last year, in both clubman and 3DM we saw some serious repetition between pilots.. Most seem to just want to copy JK's pitch pumping moves and Szabo's rock solid chaos... or just slamming the thing into the ground with a quick recovery before eating the dirt...

To be honest, after a while of watching yet another damned 4 point metronome or some 'chaos' drifting all over the sky.. you get to think... for gods sake lads can we not think of something else to do?

Get rid of the stick banging, bring back the precision and control!!!

Then maybe the new moves of yours.. explain to the judges what your ideas are and carry them out with good control... you will score well then...

BTW: Probably not a good idea to let your competitors know yer plans, eh?
