Helicopter handling
After buying a cheap but new radio controlled twister micro helicopter ive learned how to hover, but always find that it doesnt matter how i set the gyro gain etc, the tail never stays straight for more than 10 seconds or so.

As the battery drains i have to keep altering the yaw trim during flight to keep the tail straight.

Is this a typical characteristic, i mean does the flyer have to input some yaw to help the gyro now and then, or is it because i have a faulty gyro mixer thing?

Thanks for any help, only had this thing for a year and although its only fixed pitch i want to learn nose-in flight before moving on to bigger and collective pitch.

Thanks for that info, luckily the tail only wildly twitches when the battery is so low i have no choice but to land. the only time i crash is trying nose in flight, bloody hard work, easy on a computer simulator though. i asked this last year but nobody helped so many thanks.

On a nitro, if your tails twitchin due to a low battery i'd be more worried about landing because you'd be a few seconds away from turning your heli into a rock
