Tanic's great service
Im flying a maxi joker and using 2 5s3p tanic packs in series to make one big 10s pack. I had a problem with one of the batteries as it began to get warm and puffy on the charger. I promptly removed it and upon investigation found a dead region of cells. I have been balancing the packs as recommended but was charging these packs in the full state. When I spoke to Brian at Tanic, he explained to me that there have been a few others with this same issue and the only thing in common between us is storing the batteries for long duration fully charged. To make a long story short I sent the pack in and it was fixed free of charge. They now recommend to store between 3.6 to 3.8v per cell. Just wanted to share the good experience and also inform others who may have large lipos. Thanks Brian!!

Brian is a good man. Helped me picking out the right battery configurations for my projects. The packs have been performing flawlessly.

I had a problem with a new TX NiMH from Tanic not having much capacity. I later found out this was normal and they all do this, but Brian called me maybe 20 minutes after I emailed to explain that I needed to cycle new packs 5 times to bring them up to capacity. Best service ever!

I had a question as to what battery to use on my Sabre micro. I have had great success with Tanic packs in my fixed wing aircraft in the past so I sent an email to Tanic with my question. Within hours I had a response from Brian. Wow this guy is the perfect example of superb customer service. He invited me to give him a call and I was able to reach him on the first call. Brian gave me the answers I needed and some additional info I was not aware of. Tanic has a great product and great service. In todays world of lousy service and marginal products, I'm very impressed with Tanic. Consequently, they will get all my battery business. I highly recommend this company.
