cal. tail rotor pully?
Hey guys,
I have the tail box apart to correct that incessive clicking from the pully. I have a question, I take it that you have to epoxy the whole pully to the tail pully holder not just the two piece pully. Looking at it, just gluing the pully flange to the other half of the pully will not make the clicking go away. I take it that the bore in the pully elongates over time. I just am making sure so that don't have to do this twice.
Thanks
Rich

Hi Rich

when u take the tail apart and undo the set screw and pull the tail drive pulley off u will see it comes in 2 parts,
Right now put a bit of JB weld or epoxy on the flats, dont not put it where the clip sits as u might need to take this off one time to change the pulley and it will be stuck there,
Now slide the first bit on then the next, u will see that some of the JB or epoxy will come out so make sure u clean it all off,
Put ur clip back on and leave it over nite and that will lock it to the shaft and this will stop all play and clicking,
I done both the front and the back one on mine,
hope this helps
