1 Gal of Performance Plus Heli fuel 30% (If you are pick it up)
I started flying with this heli. Very stable and easy to learn on as a standard configuration with out upgrades. I updated everything on my last crash the beginning of this year with the CNC all metal head and arms, C-spec motor & pipe and went with the Fut. GY601 Gyro w/S9251 servo and Lipo pack with regulator and all new Airtronics servos. The CNC Metal head has a built in head button that is a very nice feature. Needles to say this was a great improvement over the TT90 engine. It is still very stable and plenty of power.
This c-spec engine in combination with the muscle pipe runs great with no hesitation. Tuning the carb is very simple and holds the settings for the complete flight. I use 30% Nitro and a Enya No.3 Glow plug. I keep the engine temp around 185F for starting out and it will move up to 210 during a good hard flight and around 200F for general practice. I recommend the same.
The seesaw is set inboard for best response and I have 95mm V-paddles and TT680 CF blades attached. I added a set of flybar weights when I first flew it and fly them in the center of the flybar and still have very fast roll rate – so I left them like that. You could play with the flybar weights position a bit more or take them off for even faster roll rate.
The 601 Gyro works great – a 401 with 9253 work very well – this comes with 601 with 9251 and works unbelievably better than a 401.
Yes, the Futaba 8ch PCM Receiver and 33 RX Crystal is included. If you fly with a 9ZAP I can transfer the program over – or just tell you the settings I use.
Yes, I have crashed this heli a couple times. But, I have replaced everything with new parts – even if I thought it might need it. Needles to say there are no compromises on this heli.
I am selling this heli because I an cutting down my fleet to just two. Just not flying these guys as much as I used to.
