Okay, I'm a little unclear which way to mount the Ms-044 gyro.

I know its supposed to go with the label upside-down, but is the label side supposed to point directly back at the tail of the heli, or is it supposed to point out at the sides of the heli?

I've seen it mounted in pictures both ways. The MS-USA site's instructions seem to indicate the label should face towards the tail of the heli, but in their ads for the X3D they show label side clearly facing out towards the sides of the heli.

Help?????

It does not really matter. The important thing is to make sure that
the axis along which it should rotate is parallel with the main shaft.
The angle in which you mount the heli is irrelevant.

So it can either point with the label facing out to the side of the heli, or with the label facing directly back at the tail of the heli? Is that right???

I watched the Duzi video and Darkhorse's vid where it shows the MS-044, and both show the label side pointing directly back at the tail of the heli, parallel with the tail boom (mounted behind the main rotor). Seems to work for them, I think I'll do it that way, unless someone else says "no," point the label out towards the sides like in the picture of the X3D that often shows in the MS composit ad that loads at the top of this forum's pages.

yes, both ways will work fine unless you put the gyro upside down ...

It is more important to find a place where is the minimum vibrations
and inteference. With Duzi set-up, puting the gyro behind the two
cyclic servos at the back seems the most convenient and effective
way (my hornet has the same configuration).
