Ok,
Today is a bad day. When I was practice with video (alone without my photographer) I had a flame out (but engine after auto is still running) and situation of fast auto.
BUT it happens... lost the control I don’t know why and when I wake up again, the level of the field isn't the same on my eyes because in front of me is a lot of high corn plants and make auto (hard) without see the last 4 meters.
The good news heli is not damage very hard, but my pro60 broke at the horizontal fibe tube and rear right.
The very bad news is, necessary to rebuilt because in 7 days i have one job to do. If anyone knows where I found fiberglass tube in Europe 1/2 inch i would appreciate

Thanks
Bill

That's easy. It appears your went into low battery failsafe. Notice how it happened after you pulled out of a dive, where you were pulling a large amp load. Your throttle went to idle. When you raised to collective to flare, you were able to accelerate the motor again.

Im not sure of the cause, but going by the video, the engine does need to be tuned up some more.

Bill,
Yes it seems what it happened was a fail safe activation, otherwise you would have never recovered the engine...Your headspeed is way too much, and gyro gain low. It is visible on the video that when you kick the throttle up camera pans at the same time....gyro gain too low. Work the curves a little bit.
Hope you can get it back in the air for the job.
Cheers.

yes its true. the engine is need more to tune up and gyro gain low.
but the biggest mistake for me is to remove the header tank before this flight the result is when the main tank is empty pull up air and not fuel and both situation poor mixture at high speed and low gain in gyro i lost the control. i was fall like a biginner
anyway thanks all of you and Jody i sent you mail with photos to what parts i need.

Bill,

very sorry the see this.

1. what about the water ? you were very close and there were plenty of droplets on the lens. any open connections were some water could have seeped in through capilary action and shortend out something ?

2. man you have to stop drinking espresso befor you fly. thats a camera helicopter not a race car.

Your gyro gain might be a tad low but I would bet most of the jerking you see in the video is from the engine not being tuned. More than likely if shes runnin smooth you probably wont see the jerkyness in the cam.

Torsten,
No problem from the water I have made in all connections and gyro silicon waterproofing.
You absolutely right!!! Before take off I drink a strong Frappe without sugar.
Next time I will try with Scotch

i have problems* with tune at this engine. without equipment is running fine. about the gyro i repair the gain and its good now.
there is no problem because for video i use my Benzin. the rappy is only for photos and with equipment for photos flying very good. Yesterday just doing practice with rappy and PRO60(i was remove the pan/tilt system only camera) but it happents.

really what rpm is recommended from glow helis in AP?

*this engine is history for me. Its simple 50sxh and i modify to Hyper with carb etc. i was replace 4 times piston / ring and 2 time the cylinder.
But rest the money because this small 2stroke think doing with successfully 164 jobs and am very proud for she. I think is time to replace.

ask because in all of my jobs the engine (glow) is running at 85-90%
if the rpm is lower i have no steady flight and hover. something is going on?
