using a jr 6102 tx and have tail travel set to 150/150 per heli and gyro manuals. control horn distance was set at 18mm - the max per both heli and gyro manuals. subtrim is centered. when i apply full left or right tail the slider is exceeding it's travel limits and jamming the slider against the stops at both ends of travel. to prevent this i relocated the pushrod one hole over on the servo horn to 15mm. now the pitch slider has perfect travel. however, the G410T manual states anything under 16mm from the servo shaft greatly reduces gyro response. Is it better to reduce the servo travel limits to say 100/100 or will this effect the gyro response also?

thx,mike

It's better to reduce the servo travel to 100%-120% and leave the servo arm at 18mm. Adjust the servo travel until it binds, then back it off a bit.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

thanks, Patrick. i did just the opposite but will readjust servo arm position and decrease travel limits after i have some flight time in. this way i can see if there is a noticible difference in the feel of the tail.
