1) I think a little is lost in translation, is “nick” our “elevator”?

2) Their instructions say “roll on Ch 4, nick on Ch 5”, aren’t all radios ( set up for non CCPM ) roll on Ch 1, and Elevator / nick on Ch 2?

3) I would want to set it up as a “bail out” only using a transmitter switch. I run a 9 channel Futaba (149 DP / 9CHPS ) and use 8 channels now. Would I plug sense or control into Ch 9, then configure a transmitter switch to Ch-9? I assume a y-harness for battery?

After what I saw yesterday, I am strongly considering one of these for my “learning bird”.

Yes, I believe nick is elevator, but you'll need one of the UK guys to confirm. No, all radios are not set-up that way. JR uses different channel assignments.

Nick und roll= fore/aft and roll cyclic.

IMHO, your money is better spent on a simulator than a stabilization device. In the winter the sim is still going and while that may not be a factor in CA, you do have to watch out for fires and mudslides.
