How do you use the pitch gauge?

while I have this post I will go ahead and ask another question. How stable should the t-rex be? I know that a helicopter has a natural tendency to lean a certain direction depending on the blade rotation, but can this be fixed with trim?

The slight lean while hovering is due to the tail rotor. If the heli sat dead level in the hover the side thrust the tail rotor creates to counteract torque would make the heli slide sideways. Thus the slight lean in a stationary hover. Every control on a heli interacts in some way with another, it's the nature of the beast.

There should be instructions with the pitch gauage. But basically the pitch is measured with respect to the horizontal line when the paddles are horizontal.

The TRex is very stabel. The TRex is the first heli I've built and only started flying on a HB FP2 3.5 months ago, and I can take my hands off and count to 5 and she's still there.

There's always a lean but you won't notice it, espectially once you're out of tail in flying and flying further away from you.

Damn nose in hover

A small amount of lean is normal and no you cannot trim it out.
