Hello Everyone,

I found an interesting fact tonight. I wanted to test my fail safe settings so I decided to turn on both 14 MZ and 9Z. Believe it or not, the reciever was able to pick up alot of the signals from the 9Z but absolutely none from the 14MZ. I can only conclude that the signal strength from the 9Z is far greater than that of the 14 MZ... if this is the case, not cool for a very expensive radio.

Sorry my bad. Apparently a few inches makes alot of difference. The nearest transmitter gets thru.

The modulation of the 14MZ is also different from that of the 9Z when the 14MZ is used as with the 12 channel RX. The RF is not switched between two frequencies to transmit the '0' and '1' but rather four frequencies are used to transmit '00', '01', '10' and '11' transitions. This makes that the 9Z rx will actually be able to pick up more of a usable signal when both are in the air.
