I was running an HS56 on the tail and a extenal 6 volt BEC on my new T-Rex hoping to not have the same tail wag that my Hornet always had. I was disapointed to find I still did, even when my CC35 was not in governor mode. Tonight I thought I would throw my 9253 on and see how it would balance. I don't have a scale but the 9253 seems to be a light servo. I have the Electron 6 receiver up front and with the TP2100's it was slightly nose heavy. The balance was right on after the 9253 was installed, so I hooked her all up, swithed the 401 to digital, got everything going the right direction and headed outside. I started at 50% gain in my Airtronics Stylus, where I was at with the HS56. Smooth as silk, so I started running the gain up, and when I hit 100% I quit, still smooth as silk. I didn't take her up for a burn because it was dark, so I may have too much gain, but I will see in a few days when I get some time off. I love my T-Rex now......................!!!!
I got a set of MAH main blades coming. I haven't seen anything here on them. Are they heavier and will the plastic head handle them? I will eventually be getting a Microheli head when they are in stock, but I would like to run the new blades as soon as I get them.
