My Posts: All  Forum  Topic

I just picked up a copy of Solidworks CAD software and am starting the design of my own micro heli. I have been looking at the helis on the market and the Blade CP and Hornets seem to have the most simplistic head design. I was wondering if anyone could get some real closeup shots of the head and maybe some explanation of how it works. Also what are some of the weak points in the head design? One of my professors said that if I can design it he can have some of his senior design students machine it for me.

Also for someone flying a Raptor 30 and a MaxiR how do you think I would like one of these? I want to get into inverted hovering but Would hate to crash the raptor (expensive) and the MaxiR, well would prefer not to mess up such a nice machine How would one of these be for working on stationary flips and inverted hovering?

Thank You
