I think eveyone said Logo is the top quality one. really want one, to study more, I downloaded instruction manual, the manual is the best I ever saw...

However, I found at least 3 places that even a T-Rex(or many other cheaper Heli) is better in design:

1. The Tail Rotor Level, no ball bearing uesed? (page 17)
2. Main hollow shaft, is it weaker than usual one? No thrust bearing on main shaft; the design seems no autorotation is possible(no one way bearing, I could be wrong on this)
3. Frames, tail boom mounting, all use self-tapping screws..

Are there any improvment about these in 3D or CF version?
Is there a review site that has all the parts photos? I don't want to make any mistake since it's an expensive heli.

have you flown one?
you are going to judge a heli (that has been proven over the last 5-sum years) on these points only?!?

oh, you forgot the completely plastic frames and non-driven tail.

Really though, it's not like the logo will not fly with these "problems". If you look at really old heli designs, your eyes will pop out even more.

The Tail Rotor Lever can be upgraded to ballraced lever.
2. Main hollow shaft, is it weaker than usual one? No thrust bearing on main shaft; the design seems no autorotation is possible(no one way bearing, I could be wrong on this)
I certainly would hope it is hollow. It would weigh a ton if it is a solid 8mm rod. If it was solid, I would upgrade it to a hollow one. I believe most, if not all, larger heli's use hollow main shaft.

There is a auto-rotation hub available.
3. Frames, tail boom mounting, all use self-tapping screws..
All the servo mounting screws that come with the servos are self tapping screws. You can drill holes and use bolt and nuts if you want to. But I have no problem mouning the servos with self-tapping screws. You have to pre-drill small holes for the servo mounting screws anyway.

Because of different servos have different specs, the frames can not be pre-drilled to fit just one kind of servo.

Stock standard Logo 10 flies well without upgrades. But, if budget allows, I would suggest to buy Logo 10-3D kit which comes with many upgrade parts already.

Enjoy!!

Lovemov,
I own a Raptor 50. I won that raptor 50 drag racing. My logo 20 beat a raptor 60.
The Logos are seriously nice helis. If you buy one, you won't be dissappointed. I now own a 20 & a 10.

Hi,

just give a look at this:

http://www.eheli-tuning.de

And look at the Acrobat Se.
So far, this is the best electric heli i have ever flown ( and i flew a lot of them as i did the setyups and building checks for a lot of guys in electric helis here).
Since i have this one, i just so not want anything else.. Trajectroies are straight, control is perfect, mechanic is beautifull and effective, and the price ( 700 EUR) is not expensive for a full carbon / alu heli that really works.
I have mine since two years and i had not any issue with it. JUst fly it, put it in the workshope, charge it, and go back to fly, regular checks just show that everything is fine

Best regards,

Fabien

Fabien, you live in France. Therefore you might have access to those parts in a matter of perhaps 1 to 3 days? If I were to buy that heli, I would be seriously starving for parts and with my kind of flying parts go rather quickly. Logos are widely available in the USA. While the Acrobat Se is a superb helicopter, it is not a wise purchase when you live in the US. Even 3DMP parts are hard to get.

HI,

sorry to answer so late,
You are right about this, but what drives me mad is that for example an order at Flying-Hobby in HK arives in 24 / 48 hours and a aprcel from france to france sometimes takes more that one week.
Same with germany, items shipped arrive very wuickly so for sure it is not comparable
I wish there would be an US distributor forthis heli, this is really a nice one and you can read here on Runryder some comments of people who bought it from the US anyway
Thanks for the input and sorry for my veyry late reply,

Fabien

The Logo 10 is getting old now. If you decide on a Logo 10, get a 3D or Carbon version. Comes with a few more goddies; ie, Alu Swash, thrust bearing.

If you want all hex cap screws, then get a alu hex spacer set which comes with all the screws, etc.

I aint goin back to nitro after getting a Logo 10 a while back. Of course I didn't have the luxary of getting some option parts in the kit, but now they sell other versions which come with these extras.

heli+ground/heli+tree/heli+bush=not good
