Well,

My T-Rex had a boomstrike today (bummer)

and I smashed it up reaaaaal good. I have found replacement parts for everything except the yellow horizontal stabilizer? damn you Align! why dont you sell it seperate from the cde kit?

I could replace it with white, or 3k imitation plastic. But I found the yellow on the tail really helped me with orientation.

If anyone has one they dont need because thyve upgraded it to cf or 3k, Id like to buy it for a fair price

Otherwise, If anyone knows where I can buy one new, Id appreciate them pointing me in the right direction. But so far, it seems align dont sell this part seperately

thanks all

Will

Sorry, don't have one but you could always hit a white one with some yellow spray paint. I've painted some of my older white fins and they came out quite nice. Just a thought if you can't source one.

thanks anyway d.

the spray paint is plan b!

I also thought about getting a real cf stabilizer SET, to use just the horizontal stab. Wouldnt help ith orientation, but would look nice

Im not sure how the horizontal cf fin attaches to the bracket that goes around the tailboom though. Because the bracket mates with a corresponding molded part under the horixontal plastic fin.....?!?

Willard. I painted a white one with Krylon yellow. You can barely tell the difference. I use a painted vertical stablizer also. Way easier to see than black. Try it.

I say spray paint. The stock part is a little too dark for my taste, so I painted it a bright yellow, with a red underside (matches my canopy ).
