I everyone!

I run a Futaba tx and rx on my rappy 50.

But I'm about to buy a JR pcm9x from a buddy without Rx.

So my question is, how can i mix the different brands?, i know

there was something about fitting Futaba and JR together.

for example Which Rx brands can i mix with the JR 9X ??

And what about PCM/PPM mixing with that radio????

What frequency band do you use in Norway? In the UK its 35Mghz and you can use PPM receivers from different brands to the TX although PCM is manufacturer specific - JR TX with JR RX, Futaba TX with Futaba RX etc. This is not the case with the frequencies in use in the USA which have different frequency shifts.

For heli use most flyers (at least those I know in the UK) fly PCM so you would need a JR PCM receiver to go with the PCM9X, at the end of the day its a small amount extra to pay to provide better protection for the heli.

Hi Steve!

We run the same frequency in Norway, 35mhz.

It's a hell of a price here in Norway for those pcm receivers, so i

was looking for a cheaper way out of this

But i guess in the end I'll end up with and original pcm receiver for

the JR radio.

Hi Zap,
I'm allmost 100% sure that you can mix Jr and Graupner pcm units, as Graupner is produced by JR.
Try Thorbjørn & Kaare in Oslo. If anyone can say for sure, they can.
Don't know if there's much to save though...

i always thought Futaba ran a negative pulse, which would mean any TX than cannot be changed from Pos to Neg would not work assuming PPM, as SPCM you cant mix brands anyway, or have i missed something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Yes , you have . The incompatiblity issue exists in the States , but not in Europe , although there are some "quirks" with using 9 channel + JR tx's with Sanwa recievers . I use some Futaba dual conversion PPM receivers with my PCM9X no problem , but with Inwoods selling the JR 770PCM for £53 and the JR R900 PCM for £63 that's all I'm likely to buy from now on .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .
