I am trying to get my ARF Funkey 222 functional, but I am totally hung up on the retracts. Any hints, as I have never done it before, and they are SO FAR OFF that I cant even get the retract arm to touch the belcrack it is supposed to attach to.

I am also wondering if I am supposed to epoxy the wood strips into the bottom of the fuse, or if they are simply help in place by the bolts.

Also, what size washers should I use on the outsife of the fuse for the screw that go through the bottom and into the raptor (the screws that used to hold the skids on. Thanks

Josh

Hi,
what servos do you use for the retracts?. I use Hitec retract servos.
Take a look in my gallery, where you can see my retracts.
I have made some plastic washers for the screws in the bottom.
And yes, glue the wood strips with epoxy. But be sure to fuelproof them too.

I figured it out, I was putting the servo on the wrong side of the beam, making it too far away from the retract arm. Once I corrected this problem, they went together fairly easily.

Thanks for all the help, Josh
