Well I figured this would happen. Reflex is not recognizing my radio (Futaba 7C).
Error says "No Reflex-Interface could be detected"
Is this different from the "turn your transmitter ON error"?

So i did some searching and found out about the resistor mod. De-soldered the resistors on the USB board but I think i damaged a neighboring part in the process. Help!........what do I do now?
Does any vendor sell just the USB adaptor? I'll try contacting Reflex directly but Im sure that will take weeks.....

i've had this problem. it creeped up on me when i bought a new USB hub and plugged the reflex module into it.

in the end, i remember that i re-installed reflex and the problem went away. give it a shot.

Thanks steve,
I'll give that a shot. Do you turn your transmitter ON or keep it OFF?

the transmitter does not even have to be connected for the interface to be detected

your computer should recognize that a new usb device has been connected as soon as you plug it in, tx or not

you cannot buy just the usb adapter, as that would make piracy extremely simple...

if you simply cant get it to work, you'll probably have to send the broken one back and get a new one

Will keep you updated.

Reflex and Futaba 7C
Actually it involves desoldering some resistors or exchanging the interface. Details here:

Reflex and FF7C

To get my 7CHP to work I had to make a solder bridge for the bottom two pins, I think #5 and 6 in the square Futaba connector on the cable.

However, DO NOT then try and plug in another model Futaba Tx... I did this with my 9CHP and wound up frying two diodes in it.. it didn't damage anything else, but I removed the bridge, and with the power switch off, and the USB interfact plugged in I get power and no more smoking Tx in my lap
