I'm working on a scale project and would like to reduce my rear tail rotor diameter my 10mm, was wondering if anyone had any idea how this might effect the tail control? Since I'll be flying scale circuits and not 3D I’m not too concerned with extreme tail control. I’m thinking of going from the stock plastic 55mm rotor blades to a set of carbon fiber 42mm.

Thanks Guys

I'd think it would be fine since my Trex has such a fast tail. I've cut down the blades on my 3Dpro and like it better now. Thought about doing the same on my CDE also. I think there was a post where some one did it due to their tail hunting. The plastic blades are cheap so give it a try with them first.

If it isn't beating the air up it isn't flying
