Hey guys

I tend to use Maverick brand blades, fiberglass or carbon, both for my Raptor 30 and 50. Want to use other brands with good results.

How about Thunder Tiger blades? Any others you enjoy using? Looking for price range of $50-65 for a 30 size and $60-75 for 50size blades? And who would you prefer to order these blades from?

I like to use Heliproz, but they told me the other day, they no longer carry Maverick. Not sure if they meant forever or just out of stock temporarily.

Thunder tiger blades are very good. They auto forever, good medium 3d blade, but dont seem to make as much "blade fart" noise .
I have tried mavrikk on my Raptor 50 and wasnt too impressed with their performance not to mention the flutter.
SAB's are the best blade for the 50 hands down. Great overall performance in every area.
I run NHP's right now, due to the lack of finding SAB's when I needed them, but that does not seem to be a problem now. NHPs are very efficient blades. You have to run about 2-3 degrees more pitch on either side, and really crank the headspeed to about 2100. They dont climb that well, but can really hold speed going from one thing to the next. But the are very responsive, auto well, and make alot of noise.
NHPs and SABs are about $75-79.
SAB's I get from http://www.eastcoastextremehelis.com and NHP's I think heliproz may have them, but I get them locally.
Whatever ones you try you will be happy with.

Thanks Paul, I will give the Sabs and the NHPs a try. Would be great if the SABs would prove I currently have bad blades on my Raptor 50. It is suffering from a common fluttering problem with a few dozen other Raptor 50s out there.

I can add that the NHP's don't have the same climbout as the TT's. I had a set of 600 NHP's on my Raptor. They had a very slow climbout with a pitch of 11 degrees, compared to 9.5 degrees and a fast climbout with the TT's. However, they came out of the box perfectly balanced and needed zero tracking adjustment. My TT's are way out of balance and need offsetting pitch adjustments to track properly.

i agree that the TTs are great for the cost. but i loved my mavrikk g4s even better. didnt seem to auto as well but all around flying made up for it. i had them on my 50 and 90. the patriot mavrikks autoed better then the g4s but were not as agressive. ill stay with ay of these for the money. i crash too much to buy expensive blades.

Look at Cyberheli and QuickUK for SABs. You'll find them not only competitively priced, but very efficiently delivered. SAB also make great tailblades.
