Actually I can tell you how to beat them Buy a new trailer no tags take the front license plate off of your vehicle, tow trailer everywhere.. It worked in AZ I definitely got popped in AZ but since the trailer blocked the view of my rear plate and I had no front plate there was nothing they could do. I even have witness to being popped flashes going off everywhere lol

LOL...drive a motorcycle! In germany, my buddy used to drive his motorcycle down a hill where there were 4 cameras. He'd fly down there as fast as he could setting off all of the cameras. They only flash the front, and motorcycles don't have a front plate!

Cities have been known to lower the yellow light time in order to increase the money they make from tickets. In cities that increased the yellow light time the cameras were taken down because they cost more to operate than they made off tickets. So it might be interesting to find out how well your city is doing with these tickets because they themselves might be part of the problem.

If you got caught on film running a red light then pay up. Here in SF it's a real problem and pedestrians are getting hit and killed too often because of it with the perps running off.

People here think a Yellow light means speed up and a Red light means two more thru.

I don't believe that blather about timing changes on Yellow lights.

Havoc is right, search your city codes for minimum yellow light times, then compare against the actual times of lights on the city. If you find it is off, contact a news agency before you contact the ticketers!!! A lot of cities are being caught by this.

If you blew a red light, just cope with it. Stuff happens.

Guys, I would like to thank all of you for your comments, especially the folks that personally know me!

The yellow light at this intersection seemed awfully short - certainly worth checking. Also worth checking would be the repair, service, and calibration records.

THIS is why you shouldn't run red lights. Check out the poor pedestrian. Not meant to rag on ya, just food for thought. I drive for a living and see some pretty stupid stuff people do. Good luck on your fight and keep us posted with results! Bill

Holy ....... dude That was a serious vid clip. Poor predestrian

I have sometimes seen yellow lights turn red pretty fast. For a 45mph zone i have had lights turn red in not even 2 seconds. How can you stop that fast?

I'm sorry, but this is one of the stupidest things I have read in a long time. This is the 1st time since I have been on RR that I have used this word towards any post.

Why would anyone say to run red lights? So you can kill some innocent pedestrian crossing the street or broadside a car that is legally in the intersection? What is wrong with you??????? Isn't it just easier to obey the traffic rules (especially intersection laws) out of not hurting some innocent person. This has nothing to do with fines, but safety!!

Exactly my point..Why should anyone have to die because of someone mis-judging when trying to beat the light?

Best Regards, Dario
