Hi Guys
Was looking at my heli in my shop. trying to find out what went wrong.
The heli was comeing out of a loop when the engine stop and the rotor slow down that I could count the spin of the blades. when the engine stop I drop the stick down to get the neg going but no deal. splat from 80ft broke the front strut only. main shaft was bent ,also the main shaft was shove down and pop the bearing out of the block the collar was still
tight. and lose one mixer steel ball.
I will put it back together and try to find out what happen.
any suggestions?

Hi Rudy
What kind of heli and motor. I did the exact same thing but was able to auto down. Just got lucky! TT50SE w/ a TT50. Back bearing flew apart and seized the engine. Third TT50 in 8 months.

Hi Guys

It's X-Cell with a YS 60 and was in stunt mode 1 when it stop. the fail switch was not on I fly alone. There no one else in the Valley that likes to fly heli.

More info needed....

Are you the original owner ?? How long have you had the setup ?? Is this your first YS motor ? Meaning, are you familiar with their operation ? Check valve ? Etc... ??

What kind of fuel ?? Type of glow plug ?

Condition of fuel delivery system.... that is, age of fuel lines, condition of your tank and stopper........ With the YS motors, the motor delivers about 6-8 pounds of pressure to the fuel tank and the tank gets pressurized...... If your tank and lines are not in good shape, leaking may result and your motor will not run properly....

The best way to "check" the integrity of your tank is to take it out, pressurize it and hold it underwater to check for leaks.....

Hi guys I appreciate the feedback!!

I have had this helicopter for several years bought it as a kit and put it together myself. The only engines I have for my helis are YS. Prior to this crash I had to replace the fuel tube in my 1gal tank due to deterioration. I put in a new fuel line and a new clunk. Fuel goes through two filters before it enters the fuel tank. The weekend before I had no problems Tearing up the Sky. When I finally got my hands to stop shaking I packed it up and went home!! I have the heli put back together and I will try to fly it this evening to see if I can find the problem. I have checked the tank, put in a new fuel line, and cleaned the filter. I use Powermaster 30% fuel and ENYA #3 Glow Plug. I will try to hover for half a tank before going high. I will let you know what happens.
