Hi all

here is the story:

I have a 9CHP Super witha 149DP PCM reciever and a Revlock 10 unit.

I have the revlock programmed as per instructions and remote control gain plugged in channel 7

On the governor menu I have set up 50% for disengaging the revlock, 1600 rpm headspeed on setting 1 and 1750 rpm headspeed on setting 2.

The problem is the second screen on the governor menu... the one that talks about the CUT-CH... I know the function of it (for the GV1) and I have it set to CH8 so It would not put my revlock on 100% or 0% leading to disaster...

My problem is that now I want to use channel 8 for another application and the damm governor menu puts channel 8 on 100% or 0% (if I reverse Dir limit) whenever I disengage the governor (entering normal mode)...

Is there any way I disable the cut function on the 9CHP?

Thank you

Tony

I believe you can use the CUT-CH as channel 7 also. I have the same on my Rev Max with the first position as off (50%), 2nd as 1400 and 3rd as 1850 and CUT-CH as CH7 with no problems.

Try setting yours to Channel 7 then make sure your armed light on the Revlock stays off when it should be off.

Hi again

Actually you can't do that... I had a little surprise when I pushed throttle hold on my Tx and channel 7 went to 100%.... disengaging an non existent GV-1.... my Revlock was reprogrammed to 20.000 rpm... I never thought Throttle hold could be used like a Turbo Boost switch

It seems its the Throttle hold function that will activate the cut channel set on the governor menu...

Try to go to the servo menu (where you can see the graphic bars) and push throttle hold... channel 7 or 8 should go rocket high or go to 0%... how will revlock handle that hum?

Cheers
Tony

Ah, ok, mine is a limiter so I guess that does not present the same issue, I cannot think of a way without my Tx in front of me...

I cannot remember what I did for my Revlock when I had it.

No problem really... Just don't use the governor function... INH it, and just assign ch. 7 to whichever switch you want it on (idle-up for example?) in the AUX-CH menu...

Its a bugger... Never thought I would need the 9 channels and now I do... How do ppl fly with 7 or even only 6 channels? I think its disgusting Futaba preparing their software only thinking about THEIR applications...

I need a 14MZ...

Anyway, you do have a point!... I just remembered I had the same config on a Freya (cut channel on 7) and throttle hold never made my revlock to engage... WIERD WIERD WIERD... gonna check it tonight

Might have something to do with what mode you are running in the Governor menu? I believe there is a std mode and a gov mode. I run mine in gov mode which sets the centre point to 50% rather than 100 or 0...

Might be, I seem to remember playing with it yesterday though when I was messing with my gov but I didn't touch the gyro...

EDIT: Yup, it is gyro, just me being stupid...

hehehe

Don't worry about that.

Everything helps alittle.

I'm just trying to find out if my 9C can have somekind of a mix that will allow me to turn on and off 2 predefined trims through switch... Its radio programming day!

I really need a 14MZ

14MZ would be welcome here too - I could then annoy my fellow flyers with some cheesy music whilst I am flying!!!
