Well, this little bird was around 14 oz AUW with a 3s1320 pack when I bought it. I've trimmed away the fat, and got it to 8.5 oz empty. I could take it down to around 8 oz by shortening the long servo leads, and using the shorter blade-style woodies.

Is this a good weight?

Here's what it is right now:

H2
Blade canopy
Hs55 cyclic, Hs50 tail
Ms Controller
Twister
GWS 6 ch.

I'll try 3s1320's and maybe 3s900's, see which I prefer. I actually think it will be the lighter pack, which would put AUW under 10.5oz if I use shorter woodies and shorten some of those wires.

I think you should try flying it before you worry so much about weight. Your setup will have loads of power. Plenty for an all up 350ish+ gram heli. 10.5oz is under 300g which I think is incredibly light.

Mine is probably up in the 360g-370g (13oz) range and everytime I launch it a little quick around my brother he says "Whoa" when it goes from pad to 6'-10' in a blink. It's like it's stuck to the ground then breaks loose and snaps instantly to about 6'. Pretty neat.
